Bajar(se) = to get off; subir = to get on. Tercera = third; parada = stop. Ordinals: primera, segunda, tercera, cuarta, quinta.

Era and vivía are the imperfect, used for how things were or used to be. Pequeño = small, so as a small child. El campo = the countryside.
