Which change would most likely speed up photosynthesis on a bright but cold day?
- Removing all of the carbon dioxide
- Moving the plant into the dark
- Raising the temperature a little
Show the answer
Raising the temperature a little
On a bright, cold day light is plentiful, so the low temperature slows the enzymes. Warming a little speeds them up. Removing carbon dioxide or light would stop photosynthesis.
